Had a nosey on the Nevpak website, particularly liked the ‘Our Environment’ section and the 95% Compostable/Biodegradable part which states that Products can comply with EN13432 without specific testing, provided 95% or more of the packs components can be proven to be Biodegradable/Compostable
If this is true then Standard Paper cups can be considered Biodegradable/Compostable as 95% of them is simply paper, the other 5% being the PE lining on the board.
Can we therefore claim all paper cups are biodegradable??? Hmm.
