Multi-Level Marketing

We have included multilevel marketing in our list of ways of making money online, not because we particularly endorse this method, but because if you are out and about on the internet searching for money making schemes, you are likely to come across multi level marketing at some stage, and we feel that it is worth writing a few lines to make you more informed.

Multilevel marketing programs often have a ‘get-rich-quick’ look and feel to them. They have a ‘buy-now before you get a chance to think about it’ spin. And we just plain don’t like them!

With all the other methods of making money mentioned in our other articles, we try to outline what the benefits are for you, but also what the benefits are for the companies that pay you ; Google pays webmasters for providing a platform for displaying adverts, Affiliate companies and cashback retailers pay the webmaster for sending qualified leads to their sites, webmasters pay article writers for creating valuable content for adding to their websites. In all these cases, we have tried to help you see how your participation is ‘adding value’ (sending leads, providing advertsing space etc). However, with many multi-level marketing programs, we just fail to see how your participation is adding value, and for that reason, we find them difficult to endorse.

Whilst Multi level marketing program usually claim to be legitimate home based businesses promising multiple revenue streams while you sleep, allowing you to take control of your life, the websites are full of ‘this is the most important website you have ever visited’, ‘this website will show you how to get rich without even trying using our supre dooper autoresponder to lure yet more people in’ etc etc. Personally, I don’t buy it.
